She Warned Him

A boy and a girl, brother and sister, were playing together with their toys. "When I grow up, I want to become an army man!" The boy proudly stated as he put down his millitary man-figure.
"But its dangerous! I'm warning you, you'll get hurt!" His sister replied.
He just rolled his eyes, and the two continued to play.

Nine years later, the same two are on the phone.
"Why are you still in the army?! Are you crazy? Please, just quit and get a better job!" His sister begged.
"Its alright! I'm fine, and still in one piece. Now I've got to go." He camly replied.
"Fine, but I'm warning you! You'll regret it soon!" She sighed and hung up the phone.

Six years later, the girl is at a tombstone.
Tears flooded her eyes as she cried in sorrow, holding a boquet of roses, daisies, and a single petunia.
"Why...Why couldn't you have just listened, brother?" She wept and placed the flowers gently on the topsoil of the grave. "Why'd you go, and leave me forever?" She continued to be full of grief. After a few minutes, she spoke again.
"I warned you."
